The AQ-100 also includes a CBI mode, which uses specialized filters to isolate blue and green light waves (440nm and 540nm). These wavelengths enhance the visibility of the mucosal epithelium and submucosal vessels. The fibrous tissue in the mucosa absorbs 440nm light waves, while 540nm light enhances submucosal vessels, thus improving contrast and clarity for more accurate endoscopic diagnoses.

In terms of image processing, the system offers four levels of magnification, allowing for detailed visual focus. Structural emphasis highlights the form and structure of the image, while contour emphasis sharpens the edges and outlines, further enhancing diagnostic precision.

Efficiency is optimized through smart dimming, which automatically adjusts the light intensity based on the received light, preventing over-illumination and controlling temperature at the endoscope’s head. Additionally, the freeze and playback feature allows clinicians to freeze real-time images and quickly replay them with a single touch.
